Here are a few of my watercolor paintings.
My brother Jim lived in Leipzig, Germany in the early 1980’s. This painting is of the Thomaskirche, where Bach worked as choir master.
This painting is of the Netherlands. Dave and I lived in Roosendaal for the first 9 months of our married life.
This is a painting of a Vermont scene. I lived in Vermont for 10 years, attending UVM in Burlington. Dave and I first met in Vermont.
This is the Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Massachusetts, Ginger’s hometown. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote “Tales of the Wayside Inn” about this place. It is the oldest running inn in the U.S. To see more paintings from Sudbury Click Here
This is a painting of a rose arbor on Cape Cod. My family went camping on Cape Cod every summer when I was a child, and my parents just moved to the Cape one year ago. Dave and I spent our honeymoon on Cape Cod. It is dear to my heart. To see more paintings of the Cape Click Here

Ginger- LOVE the Vermont painting. Did you do it from a photo or from another painting or from memory? I am impressed.

Way to go Ginger. Very nice work. No wonder your ping pong is a little rusty. You’ve been painting too much when should have been practicing ping pong. Looking forward to a rematch. Only this time with more chaos and children running around. Joe

Hey, thanks to both of you for looking at our blog! I’m glad you like the painting, Cyndi. It’s from a photograph. I WOULD practice more ping pong if I had somewhere to practice! I’m excited for a re-match. Ginger

I’m not surprised about your talents. But your biggest “talent” is your being a Prov. 31 woman. Which I am very blessed by and very encouraged by and very challenged by. (in a good way!)

HI Ginger! I had no idea you were such a talented artiste! I love your paintings! Can I show your Wayside Inn picture to Rich Davison (Suzy’s dad)? He is on the board of the Wayside Inn & would love it.

Hi Ginger, finally I am checking your weblog….Great. Your paintings are wonderful ( as are the cards you make from them). As far as ping pong we are hoping to finally get a table down in our basement and you can practice whenever you come…(a bribe)

Julia,
Thanks for your encouragement. It means a lot coming from an artist such as yourself. I would be honored if you showed the painting to Mr. Davison. Please tell him hello from me!

I am going through all the blogs from the church web site and came across yours. I had no idea you were such a good artist. I also noticed talk of ping pong. Is there a table at the church? I enjoy playing but do not have a table.

Unfortunately there’s no ping pong table at the church. THere used to be, in the pool table room, but it was warped and eventually not usable. Our friends the Hadleys have one in their basement. I don’t play often, but love to play.
