Yesterday the Indianapolis Colts lost to San Diego in the playoffs. Two years ago, the same thing happened, except for they lost to Pittsburgh. One year ago, the Colts won the Superbowl. This was the last game they will play in the RCA Dome, because they are building a new stadium that should be ready by next season.
I like the Colts a lot, and I am very sad that they lost. I would also be very sad if Tony Dungy (their coach) left. He is a Christian, and is a very example to the rest of the players. Quite a few players are Christians also. If he left, he would be able to spend more time with his family. But he is going to try to decide what to do this week. I think he’s one of the NFL’s best coaches, and I hope he remains our coach.

This is an essay that I wrote for school.
This School Year
This school year Krystiana and I are taking some classes at our friends school. It is sort of a school for homeschoolers. I am taking Spanish, and Krystiana is taking French, biology, and English. My Spanish class is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Tuesdays a man from Honduras is our teacher. His name is Andrés. Our teacher on Thursdays is Mr. Gainer, one of the people that started the school. Our Spanish class did a program in front of the other kids in the school and their families. We sang songs in Spanish and read monologs that we wrote in Spanish. I really enjoy taking Spanish there.

What a game, huh? I was sad that they lost, too. Can’t believe all the interceptions and missed passes! Isaac had a hard time getting past the Marvin Harrison fumble. Oh well. Maybe next year.

Sounds like you have a great Spanish class. I never had a native Spanish speaker for a teacher, so you have been blessed to have Andres. I was sorry to see the Colts lose, particularly because Mr Dungy has such a great Christian message.
I enjoyed your picture from the Eiffel Tower. What an great trip we had!

Thank you for the comment, Rob.
Coach Dungy wasn’t sure if he was going to come back to coach the Colts this year, but on Monday he said that he was. I think everyone was very relieved!!!
I like my Spanish class, and Andres is a very good teacher.
We miss you a lot, and hope to see you soon. Love, Eliza

I can feel your pain, Eliza, since the Patriots also lost last year in playoffs ( to your team incidentally)…but this year “MY” team is doing a better than average job in the wins….lets hope they keep it up for one more game at least !!!! I am happy for you that Coach Dungy is coming back….
